"Fun" Layout

I've had this photo of my grandson and I in my box of photos to scrap for  quite sometime so I finally got around to doing just that the other night. My grandson & I were entertaining ourselves in the Halloween aisle at the $ Store, lol. I used the Making Memories SimplyFab Multi Pack "Meg" paper collection, which I have also had in my stash forever. I distressed all the papers on the layout. The flower's are from Prima. The butterflies I printed out on photo paper and fussy cut them out then added the wire antennas I made. Here's the finished layout...

Two More Mini's

I think I'm getting addicted to doing Mini Albums, they're a lot of fun. This first one is made using a tutorial from You Tube by Scrapqueen which you can find here: Scrap Queen. This book is a 4" x 6", for my album I used the Heartfelt "Under the Sea" paper collection. I really like these papers for this mini album, they just seem to be "happy" papers to scrap a fun time with family and/or friends at the beach! Here's the first mini...

This next mini album I found in my stash, it came with the chipboard front cover and back cover and then just card stock pages and is 5" x 5". I used Couture Creations "Sea Breeze" paper collection for this mini. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Here's the finished product...

New Mini Album

Just a quick post to show off my most recent mini album. This can be an insert for a bigger mini album or just as a small mini album to pop in to your purse or whatever as a "Brag Book". I made this from a tutorial by PaperDream Design on You Tube which you can find here: PaperDream Design Mini Album

I used the "Rose Quartz" paper collection from Prima, this is such a pretty paper line! I hope to do a video of the whole album this week and will post it here on my blog. You can click on the photo to see a larger picture. TFL!

Precious Girl

I had this photo of my daughter and I in a frame in my living room and decided I should scrap it. Where did the time go, my daughter's only 5 in this photo, she's now 26!  I'm feeling old, lol.

I used the Kaisercraft "Rose Avenue" paper collection for this layout. I used a bit of multi medium with one of my stencils on this along with using some Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst spray. I used a piece of pink cardstock for my background paper which then allowed me to use the different left over paper pieces from other layouts I'd done using this paper collection. I cut and layered the different pieces until I was happy with the design. I then distressed and inked all of the papers and glued them down. I backed the photo with some blue cardstock from my stash and added some cardboard to the back of the photo to lift it up from the other papers. I die cut some leaf flourish's and added them to the layout and then added all my flowers. I found some metal tags in my stash, one that said "Precious" and one that said "Girl" and a metal heart and added them to the layout. I was quite pleased at how my layout turned out. Here's the finished layout...
